1. Requirements for incubators
(1) Active temperature control, uniform temperature generally requires a temperature control accuracy of ±0.2oC, and the temperature difference at each point in the machine is not greater than 0.4oC.
(2) Fair ventilation, timely ventilation, each embryo egg should have a ventilation volume of 0.002-0.010m3/h during hatching, and a ventilation volume of 0.004-0.015m3/h during hatching, so as to make the air in the machine fresh and CO2 The content does not exceed 0.5%.
(3) Turn the eggs regularly, the angle should be sufficient, and the action should be stable. Generally, the eggs should be turned once every 1.0 to 2.5 hours. The angle of turning the eggs is ±45o. When the egg tray is turned to the maximum angle, neither the egg nor the egg tray can fall off. .
(4) Active control of humidity and proper humidity. Generally, the relative humidity is required to be 53% to 57% during the incubation period, and 65% to 70% during the hatching period, with an error of no more than 3%.
2. Application and protection of incubators
(1) The incubator should be installed on the concrete ground, the ground should be kept flat, the incubator should be tilted slightly forward (some models are backward) during installation, so as to facilitate the discharge of sewage during cleaning, and 2-3m should be left in front of the door. space.
(2) The temperature of the incubation room should be kept at 20-27°C. When the temperature is higher than 27°C or lower than 20°C, the installation of air-conditioning equipment or other measures should be considered. Humidity should be kept around 50%. There should be good ventilation and ventilation conditions in the room, and the exhaust gas discharged from the incubator (especially the hatcher) should be led to the outside with pipes. Incubation chambers are regularly cleaned, flushed, painted and disinfected. Turning eggs at an 80° angle is the key to improving hatchability. During hatching, the eggs can be turned once every 8 to 12 hours, and the egg turning can be stopped after moving into the hatching tray 3 days before hatching.

(3) After the whole machine is installed, power on and test the machine, check whether the temperature and humidity control system is normal, and adjust the temperature according to the requirements. It is also necessary to check whether the over-temperature and low-temperature alarm systems are faulty, and whether the active and timed egg-turning system is normal.
(4) Pay attention to the temperature instigated by the thermometer on the door at any time during the application. If there is any abnormal phenomenon, check the temperature control system in time to eliminate the fault.
(5) With the increase of embryo age, the air inlet and outlet should be properly opened, and all of them should be opened in the later stage to ensure the normal development of the embryo for oxygen needs, but it should not be opened too large in the early stage, so as to avoid slow heating and waste. electrical energy.
(6) Pay attention to whether the egg turning angle meets the requirements and whether the timing is accurate. It is best to make all the incubators turn the eggs in the same direction to facilitate management. Make a record every time you turn an egg.
(7) Be careful not to cut off the water in the water tank (disc) of the humidity control device, change the water frequently in the gauze of the sensing element and in the water tank, wash the gauze after it is contaminated with dirt, and then reinstall it.
